Who am I?
I am Balie.
I am music.
I am springtime.
I am expressive,
unique.
I am not arrogant.
I am not conceited.
I am not weak,
nor am I boring.
I am kindness,
I am acceptance,
I am laughter,
and hugs
and sarcasm.
I am not sick
or lost
or evil.
I am not rude
or materialistic.
I am silence.
I am deafening.
I am not perfect.
I am my mistakes.
But I am not defined by them.
I am strong willed-
determined
and observant.
I am not always right,
I am not always who you think.
I am simple,
but complex.
I am a person.
I am not a thing.
I am awkward.
I am still music.
I am Balie.
This is who I am.
